Lessons from the Ticketmaster-Snowflake Breach

Hacker group ShinyHunters is reportedly responsible for a significant data breach affecting 560 million Ticketmaster users. The group is also offering data reportedly stolen from Santander. Both companies are customers of the cloud data firm, Snowflake, which has issued a warning about a rise in cyber threat activity. Snowflake suggests enforcing multi-factor authentication on all accounts and resetting and rotating Snowflake credentials. The breaches are believed to form part of a large campaign targeting organisations using Snowflake databases.
