Life360 CEO confirms Tile tracking device data breach

Life360’s CEO has confirmed that the company suffered a data breach of its Tile customer support platform, impacting data such as names, addresses, email addresses, and device IDs. However, no sensitive information was compromised. The breach was an extortion attempt which the company discovered through emails from an unidentified actor claiming to have Tile customer information. Life360 has since improved its cyber security measures.
