Linux Foundation Public Health projects first focused on Google-Apple Exposure Notification API

The Linux Foundation has launched the Linux Foundation Public Health Initiative to leverage open source software to aid global public health agencies in fighting COVID-19 and preparing for future health challenges. The initiative is focusing on exposure notification apps and plans to expand to other testing, tracing, and isolation challenges. Two initial projects, COVID Shield and COVID Green, have been deployed in Canada, Ireland, and a few US states. The initiative aims to build a global community of technology companies, public health authorities, and developers to collaborate in battling the pandemic.
