London court throws out lawsuit against Google over medical records

Google has successfully defended itself against a lawsuit brought on behalf of 1.6 million people by a patient from the Royal Free London NHS Trust over medical records provided to Google’s AI firm DeepMind by the trust. The judge rejected the claim that all patients had a reasonable expectation of privacy in relation to their medical records.
