London hospitals grapple with aftermath of cyber attack

London hospitals are still dealing with the effects of a cyber attack that targeted pathology firm Synnovis, causing severe disruptions to services including blood transfusions. Some processes now take much longer, with vital blood tests taking up to six hours to complete due to the need for manual processing. Operations have been cancelled at King’s College Hospital, which is operating at only 70% capacity. Several patients requiring urgent surgeries have been transferred to other hospitals.
