London hospitals hackers publish stolen NHS blood test data on dark web
Cybercriminal group, Qilin, thought to be based in Russia, has published online almost 400GB of data believed to have been stolen in a June 3 hack of NHS blood testing company, Synnovis. The breach led to reduced testing capabilities at King’s College Hospital Trust and Guy’s and St Thomas’ Trust. The published data reportedly includes patient names and financial transactions between Synnovis and hospitals. The impacts of the attack have included the postponement of thousands of operations and outpatient appointments.
