London hospitals hit by cyber attack

A cyber-attack on London-based lab service provider Synnovis has seriously disrupted operations at major hospitals including Guy’s and St Thomas’s and King’s College Hospital. Most notably affected are blood transfusions and pathology results, with some operations being cancelled or redirected. Recovery from the ransomware attack may take weeks.
