London Hospitals Hit by Cyberattack Impacting Blood Transfusions

Several London hospitals have been disrupted after a ransomware attack hit Synnovis, a provider of blood transfusion and lab services. The attack had a “significant impact” on service delivery, though emergency care remained available. Guy’s/St Thomas’ Hospital, King’s College Hospital and GP services across South East London were affected. This is the third such attack on Synlab, Synnovis’ partner, in the last 12 months.
