Malaysian primary care giant CareClinics partners with HIMSS for digital transformation

CareClinics, a network of over 100 primary care clinics in Malaysia, has partnered with HIMSS to digitise its healthcare services. The agreement will involve creating a digital health ecosystem supporting patient-centered care, predictive population health, and proactive health maintenance. CareClinics will also use HIMSS’s global network and work on education initiatives to improve its workforce’s digital health capacity and competency. This move aligns with Malaysia’s broader push for healthcare digital transformation, including a national electronic medical record (EMR) system.
