Malware induction into Windows and MacOS devices via ISP

US-based cybersecurity firm, Volexity, has detected the activities of Chinese internet hack group StormBamboo, which has been active since 2012. The company is a known malware purveyor, infiltrating software updates distributed by an unnamed ISP. Volexity also has observed the activities of another hack group, Bloody Wolf, which is attacking Kazakhstan businesses. The groups are taking extra precaution following law enforcement crackdowns on cybercrime.
