Malware scam steals over $40,000 from Bucks County pair | Southeastern Pennsylvania

A man and woman from Pennsylvania, US, were scammed out of $40,600 by an individual pretending to be a Microsoft representative. The victims were attempting to resolve a malware issue on their computer and contacted a number shown on a notice. The case is being investigated by Pennsylvania State Police.
