Mastercard acquires Cyber Threat Intelligence firm Recorded Future for $2.58 Billion

Mastercard has acquired cyber threat intelligence firm, Recorded Future, for $2.58 billion to enhance its cybersecurity measures. The deal is expected to be completed by Q1 in 2025. This acquisition will allow Mastercard to leverage Recorded Future’s advanced generative AI technology to improve its threat identification and mitigation capabilities.
