Mastercard to Acquire Recorded Future for $2.65 Billion

Mastercard is set to acquire global threat intelligence firm Recorded Future for $2.65bn. The purchase will boost Mastercard’s cyber resilience services amid rising cybercrime threats in the digital economy. Recorded Future, which uses artificial intelligence, aims to foresee potential cyber threats to help clients combat risks more effectively. The acquisition is projected to close by Q1 2025.
