Matt Hancock ordered to apologise over rule breach

Matt Hancock, former UK health secretary, was found to have breached Parliament’s rules by attempting to influence an inquiry into Tory MP Steve Brine. Following this “minor breach”, a standards watchdog ordered Hancock to apologise. Hancock, known for being suspended as a Tory MP for appearing on I’m A Celebrity last year, complied with this order on 5 June 2023.
