Microsoft and GE Healthcare get regulatory approval to form Caradigm

General Electric and Microsoft have formed Caradigm, a joint venture in health IT. The company aims to develop an open intelligence platform and new clinical applications to enable better population health management. Caradigm will be led by CEO Michael Simpson and will have offices in several locations around the world.
