Microsoft has launched its first industry-specific cloud offering, Microsoft Cloud for Healthcare, which aims to improve patient engagement and collaboration among health teams. The platform includes data analytics, enhanced telehealth capabilities, and features that facilitate provider collaboration and boost operational and clinical insights. Microsoft is offering a free trial of the platform for the next six months. The launch comes as the COVID-19 pandemic drives innovation in patient monitoring and cloud computing in healthcare.
