Microsoft says care coordination and secure messaging tools are coming to its Teams platform
Microsoft teased a forthcoming care coordination tool at its Ignite conference, along with two secure messaging features for its Teams platform. The care coordination tool is in the early stages of development and will integrate with electronic health record systems. Microsoft’s move into the care coordination space will pit it against existing care management technologies. The company is also releasing image annotation and priority notifications features for Teams to enable secure and efficient communication among clinicians.
