Ministry of Defence documents leaked after cyber-attack on security firm

The LockBit ransomware group has stolen thousands of UK Ministry of Defence documents via a cyber-attack on fencing firm Zaun. It’s believed the theft did not involve classified papers but might offer LockBit a route to nuclear and high-security sites. LockBit, linked to Russia, has also targeted Royal Mail and the NHS in previous attacks. The breach has raised questions over UK data storage and security.
