Mitochondrial disease treatments: Is a breakthrough coming?

Swiss biopharma Vandria is working on treatments to restore mitochondrial function to treat age-related diseases such as neurodegeneration. British biotech NRG Therapeutics is also developing small molecule drugs for conditions such as Parkinson’s disease and ALS.
