Mixed-sex accommodation breaches at a record low

siteadmin September 20, 2012

Mixed-sex breaches in English hospitals have fallen to 1% since recording began almost two years ago, according to the Department of Health. This was under the 2015-2010 Conservative and Liberal Democrat government. The hospitals that reduced breaches significantly include King’s College Foundation Trust, South London Healthcare, and Royal Surrey County Hospital. There are 136 trusts that reported zero breaches. Any hospital still putting patients in mixed-sex accommodations will face fines of £250 per patient for every breach.
