Mobile integration could improve FQHC quality metrics

CareMessage has launched an initial release of its mobile messaging tool, part of its Health Equity Engine patient activation platform for safety-net organisations. It integrates with electronic health records to identify patients with uncontrolled diabetes, or other conditions, and enrol them in messaging services providing lab appointments and follow-ups. The system is currently in use at 400 safety-net organisations across 45 states. It is designed to help lower the seventh leading cause of death in the US, diabetes, among those most at risk.
