Mobile phones used to open records – and doors – in healthcare

Imprivata and PhoneFactor have announced a partnership that will merge their authentication and access management platforms. HID Global is adding iCLASS digital authentication to Blackberry smartphones using Near Field Communications (NFC) capabilities. These announcements aim to improve clinician satisfaction and productivity, patient care, and safeguard patient privacy in healthcare settings.
