More appointments and procedures delayed in aftermath of NHS cyber attack

London hospitals have had to postpone another 1,300 outpatient appointments and 205 elective procedures due to disruption from a cyber attack by Russian group Qilin on pathology services provider Synnovis in June. The total number of outpatient appointments and procedures delayed since 3 June is 3,396 and 1,255 respectively. NHS England has confirmed that data stolen in the attack, which includes patient data, has been released online.
