More appointments and procedures delayed in aftermath of NHS cyber attack
A cyber attack by Russian hacker group Qilin on Synnovis, a London pathology services provider, has caused 1,300 outpatient appointments and 205 elective procedures to be delayed across King’s College Hospital and Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust. NHS England confirmed the stolen data, including patient names and blood tests, has been published and services are now operating at 45% capacity.
