More appointments and procedures delayed in aftermath of NHS cyber attack
A ransomware attack on pathology services provider Synnovis by the Russian cyber gang Qilin has caused major disruptions in London hospitals. As a result, 3,396 outpatient appointments and 1,255 elective procedures have been postponed since June 3. Personal data stolen in the attack has been published online. NHS England confirmed the hackers have not published the entire database, but it could take several weeks to confirm everyone affected by the attack.
