More south east London appointments delayed in aftermath of NHS cyber attack

Following a ransomware attack, London-based pathology services provider Synnovis has postponed 1,300 outpatient appointments and 205 elective procedures, bringing the total to 3,396 outpatient appointments and 1,255 procedures since 3 June 2022. Confirming the data theft, NHS England said data including patient names and descriptions of blood tests were posted online. The service is currently running at 45% capacity as result of the attack.
