More south east London appointments delayed in aftermath of NHS cyber attack

The recent cyber attack on pathology services provider Synnovis has caused significant disruption to healthcare services in London, leading to the postponement of 1,300 outpatient appointments and 205 elective procedures at two major NHS Foundation Trusts. This brings the total delay to 3,396 appointments and 1,255 procedures since early June due to the ransomware attack by Russian cyber gang Qilin. NHS England confirmed that data stolen in the attack has been published online.
