More than 200 ‘life-saving’ operations cancelled by NHS hospitals after cyberattack

A major cyberattack on Synnovis, a supplier to the NHS, has caused major disruption to services, forcing hospitals to cancel over 200 emergency operations and life-saving procedures, including urgent cancer diagnoses. The attack on Synnovis, suspected to be by Russian group Qilin, has significantly impacted Guy’s and St Thomas’ Foundation Trust and King’s College Hospital, among others.
