A majority of the UK public (56%) do not trust the NHS to use artificial intelligence (AI) to analyse their patient data, despite recognising it could speed up patient results, according to a VMware study. Just 45% of respondents were receptive to the idea of AI for improved services. A quarter of those surveyed objected to the use of AI to process their patient data. The importance of data being stored in the UK was crucial for 87% of respondents while 39% believe UK storage ensured compliance with UK data privacy regulations.
