Multiple injuries after ship tips over at Edinburgh dockyard

35 people were injured after the US Navy-owned research ship Petrel tipped over at Imperial Dock in Edinburgh. 23 people were treated in hospital and 12 on the scene. A major incident was declared after the ship dislodged from its dry dock holding. The US Consulate in Edinburgh is offering support to involved US citizens. Investigations are ongoing to determine the underlying cause of the event.
