Multiple London hospitals suffer from ‘critical’ cyberattack

A ransomware attack on medical services provider Synnovis has impacted various hospitals, including King’s College Hospital and Guy’s and St Thomas’ in London, leading to cancelled procedures. Despite the attack, the NHS confirms that emergency care remains available. Cybersecurity insurance expert Claud Bilbao noted that due to the amount of sensitive data they hold, healthcare organizations have long been a target for cybercriminals.
