Mysterious family of malware hid in Google Play for years
Mandrake, a notorious Android malware family known for its espionage capabilities, has re-emerged on the Google Play platform after a period of dormancy. Initially discovered by Bitdefender in 2020, the malware had since lied low until this recent detection by Kaspersky. Google has since removed the flagged apps from its platform.
