National Cybersecurity Strategy 2023 | Guidehouse
The Biden administration unveiled the National Cybersecurity Strategy in March 2023 to counter rising cyber attacks by upgrading existing systems, protecting critical infrastructure, and preparing for quantum computing. It identified threats from four countries – China, Russia, Iran, and North Korea. The strategy shifts the responsibility of digital protection from end users to system owners and technology providers. To realize this strategy, several agencies will coordinate efforts, with particular emphasis on the role of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency.
