National Health IT week enters a new era

National Health IT Week is shifting focus to highlight the accomplishments of health IT, rather than just its potential. The campaign will emphasize advocacy at the state level and encourage state legislatures to take action on HIT roadmaps and embed data sharing opportunities. Other topics of focus include cybersecurity, Medicaid data usage, and health spending. The event will feature a combination of live and virtual events to allow for greater participation.
