National Records of Scotland data published in NHS cyber attack

Hackers have breached and published data from the National Records of Scotland as part of a cyberattack on NHS Dumfries and Galloway. The compromised data includes sensitive information held temporarily and sourced from statutory records such as births, deaths, and marriages. Less than 50 people are affected and a live criminal investigation is ongoing.
