NCA Shuts Down Major Fraud Platform that Triggers 1.8 Million Scam Calls

The UK’s National Crime Agency (NCA) has shut down Russian Coms, a fraud platform accused of defrauding thousands globally. Established in 2021, the platform facilitated over 1.3 million scam calls, resulting in estimated losses in the tens of millions. The NCA has arrested three individuals believed to be central to the operation.
