NCSC Issued 34 Million Cyber Alerts in Past Year

The UK’s National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) neutralized millions of cyber threats over the past year, according to its annual review. The NCSC’s early warning service sent 34 million alerts to users, and a public email reporting service received 6.5 million reports, leading to the removal of 62,000 scam URLs. Despite this success, ransomware remains a potent threat to UK organizations, highlighting the need for continued cyber-defense efforts.
