New app maps patients’ health risks

IndiGO, an app developed by Archimedes Inc., won the “Best of Care Applications” award at the Health Data Initiative event in Washington, D.C. IndiGO uses a patient’s electronic health records and advanced algorithms to generate graphical analyses of their health risks, including heart attack and stroke risk, chance of developing diabetes, and the impact of lifestyle changes and medications. The app aims to improve patient engagement and collaboration between patients and providers.
