New “Complaint Stealer” Malware Escalates, Targeting Cryptocurrency Wallets & Hospitality Sector

A series of cyber campaigns started in October has escalated in recent days, delivering the newly named “Complaint Stealer” malware. The malware targets cryptocurrency wallets and collects information related to cryptocurrency mining. It also steals credentials stored in browsers and often utilizes genuine software. It has so far used similar social engineering tactics seen in recent luxury hotel resort breaches.
