New digital health check to tackle deadly cardiovascular disease

The UK government has announced a Digital NHS Health Check to be introduced across England in spring 2024. The online checks, which will be available on tablets, computers, and mobile phones, will operate concurrently with in-person health checks and are expected to be used an additional one million times over four years, alleviating some strain on GP surgeries. Internet-based results will guide users to personalised advice and further treatment if required.
