New framework for clinical quality registries released

The Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care has updated its framework to increase the use of data for informing medical practice and policies. The framework aims to harness health information effectively for reducing risks and enhancing patient outcomes, while providing guidance on Clinical Quality Registries’ (CQRs) governance. Its objective is to help CQRs maximise the use of Australia’s clinical data.
