Researchers at Kaspersky have discovered a Go-based malware named NKAbuse, whose prime target is Linux desktops. NKAbuse is the first malware that relies on New Kind of Network (NKN) technology, a secure, decentralized peer-to-peer network protocol with over 60,000 nodes, for data exchange. The malware performs Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks and doubles as a remote access trojan (RAT).
