Minecraft players and server operators are at risk from a new threat, ‘BleedingPipe.’ Developed by user group ‘Minecraft Malware Prevention Alliance’ (MMPA), the exploit could enable hackers to execute remote code on targeted computers through Java deserialization. Several Minecraft mods could be vulnerable. Minecraft.net has issued a warning and recommended that affected users download a patch and scan their installed mods for infected files to mitigate the risk.
