Newly discovered Android malware has infected thousands of devices

Cheap Android streaming boxes such as T95 and similar knock-off units often ship with pre-installed malware, specifically two Trojans known as Badbox and Peachpit. The malware infection has hit over 74,000 devices worldwide. The solution is to avoid buying knockoff devices and not clicking on suspicious ads. Researching the brand before buying is also a preventative measure. Google confirms the infected apps have been removed from the Google Play Store.
