NextGen to be acquired by Thoma Bravo for $1.8B

Private equity firm Thoma Bravo will acquire health IT firm NextGen Healthcare for $1.8 billion, taking it private. The firm plans to leverage its increased capital and expertise to accelerate NextGen’s healthcare technology contributions. The transaction is set to close in Q4 2023, pending regulatory approval and shareholder assent.
