NHS App to offer video consultations by 2024

The NHS App is set to undergo an update that will provide personalized care features as part of the UK government’s plan for a digital revolution in healthcare. By 2024, the app is expected to offer face-to-face video consultations, and users will be able to receive messages from their GP, access medical records and manage elective-care appointments. The government aims for the app to be used by at least 75% of adults and for all social-care providers to adopt a digital record by that time.
