NHS Appeals For Blood and Volunteers After Cyber-Attack

The UK’s National Health Service (NHS) is working to recover after a ransomware attack by suspected Russian group Qilin caused significant disruption to its pathology services. The incident, which affected several London hospitals, forced the cancellation of more than 200 urgent operations and led to delays in blood transfusions and test results. The NHS is now appealing for blood donors, particularly those with O blood type, and volunteers to help mitigate the impact of the attack.
