NHS attack shows a rising cyber risk in the global healthcare sector

Over a million NHS patients’ data from 200 hospitals have been compromised in a ransomware attack on the University of Manchester. Cyber security company SonicWall found that healthcare organisations have faced millions of attempted intrusions and ransomware attacks in recent years.
