NHS Cyber Attack, August 2022: What’s the Fallout?

UK software services provider Advanced was hit by a ransomware attack on 4 August, causing disruption to key services. Advanced provides 85% of 111 services (emergency healthcare) for the NHS, and the attack has resulted in patient scheduling delays and the need for contingency plans. The company has suggested a full service recovery could take weeks.
