NHS cyber-attack: Boy, 14, has cancer operation postponed

A 14-year-old boy with Ewing sarcoma, a type of bone cancer, has had an operation to remove a tumour postponed due to a ransomware attack on Synnovis, a blood-testing firm. The cyber attack has disrupted clinical procedures at several London hospitals, and has caused the cancellation of 134 planned procedures, including over 180 cancer surgeries.
